ハワース、チェスター：Haworth 、Chester

イングランド北部。この日は、まず、ハワースを訪れました。
The northern part of England. At first we visited Haworth.
私は知らなかったんだけど、ハワースといえばブロンテ姉妹。代表作には、『嵐が丘』『ジェーン・エア』などがある。
I didn’t know though, speaking of Haworth is Bronte sisters. Their masterpiece are “Wuthering Height” and “Jane Eyre”…
私達はまず、ブロンテ博物館に行きました。
We visited The Bronte Museum.
博物館といっても当時、ブロンテ一家が住んでいた家で、再現された部屋を見ることができます。
That is a museum and also house where they lived. We can look around the then rooms.
ファンにはたまらない博物館じゃないかな。
Their fun must be ache to come this museum.
そばには、ブロンテ姉妹の父親が牧師をしていた教会がある。
There is the church where their father preached.
写真をみてもらうとわかるように、石畳の道といい家々といい、イギリスって良い古さがあると思う。
If you see these fotos you’ll find, storny roads and houses, I think UK has a good old atmosphere.
ヨーロッパは全体的に良い古さの残る街が多いけど、私はこのイギリスの雰囲気をとても気に入りました。
Actuallly, Europe has many good old towns but espacially I loved UK.

この赤いドアが素敵　！　I loved this red door !

実は私、少々車に興味あり　I’m interested in cars…only a little bit though…

続いて、チェスター。
Next is Chester.
イングランドの中で最も中世の面影を残している街。
Especially, that is the town that remains medieval look in England.
ここでは、街を散策し、この街の中で有名なチェスター大聖堂やルーディー競馬場へ。
We visited The Chester chapel and The Roodee racecouse where is the oldest in UK rambling this town.
もう少し時間があれば、ディー川クルーズしてみたかったんだけど・・・
If we had time more, we wanted to cruse Dee river…we were afraid…
